In a recent chat with Cosmopolitan magazine, India’s Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker shared her favorite cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli. 

The 22-year-old shooting champion, who made history at the 2024 Paris Olympics, named Jamaican runner Usain Bolt and Indian cricket heroes Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli as her top picks.

Taking a break after her big win in Paris, Bhaker was asked who she would like to spend a day with. She spoke highly of Bolt, saying she has read his book many times and admires his journey. For Indian sports personalities, Bhaker’s favorites are Tendulkar, Dhoni, and Kohli.

Shooter Manu Bhaker kicked off India’s medal tally at the Paris Olympics on July 28 by winning bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol final. She made history as the first Indian female shooter to earn an Olympic medal. 

Additionally, Manu secured another bronze medal in the air pistol mixed team event with partner Sarabjot Singh, becoming the first Indian athlete to win multiple Olympic medals since independence.
